Children that are victims of divorce
face too many challenges and undergo a
lot of stress. These conditions are
often not recognized by the parents who
are planning the next battle in the
court. They are too engrossed in their
emotional turmoil and needs to pay heed
to the needs of the children. The bitter
contention and many a time, making the
difficult decision in front of the world
is too much for a tender child to bear.
Once the divorce is over, and the
custody is granted, it has been seen
many a times that the parent who has the
custody begins to spend lesser time with
the child due to their own added
responsibilities, new relationships or
just out of spite with their ex
partners.
The need for custody modification,
alimony and modification of support give
enough leeway for divorced parents to
take the conflict to a new height
through post divorce litigations which
may go on forever. The sufferer in many
cases is the child.
Many a court have now a days started
educating divorcing parents on these
grounds in order to dissuade them from
post divorce litigations. These
litigations have a telling sign on the
parent’s finances, time and emotions,
which are better spent on the child.
These educational ventures have
contributed well to reduction in post
divorce litigations and made most
divorced parents see the light of the
day.
